In yesterdays blog post I told you I would be blogging about Foodie Penpals today. It's a great way to meet new bloggers and try new foods from all over the world.
I joined for the month of September but sadly wont be able to continue. Some things have come up and I'm just going to be too busy. I hope to take part again soon, though!
He sent me a nice letter telling me something about everything he sent.
Carl sent me a lot of homemade goodies.

Cheese, chili and almond cookies.
Flavored salt with dried tomatoes and rosemary from his garden.
Lemon salt with fennel & coriander seed and chili from his garden.
Welsh milled rye crisp breads.
Muesli bars. They smell like Christmas!
Bryn Ffynnon wholegrain, seed, nut and fruit muesli mix.
Once I opened the package I showed my mom everything. We both agreed that it's so neat that Carl made everything himself. Thank you, Carl, for everything you sent me!
Everything smells so good, even Eva thought so too. She actually got into the package and stole a muesli bar. =)
Incase you missed it: I'm on vacation in Bavaria, Germany!
Have you ever taken part of Foodie Penpals, if so, what's your favorite part about it? What would you like to try most out of everything I received?

I just realized your latest posts haven't been showing up on my feed =O Oh well, now I read all of them at once =P
ReplyDeleteThis seems so cool, I would love to take part on something like this =P
I am hosting a giveaway on my blog and would love it if you would check it out! It's my first one ever =P

Hi Rosie! It's so great to hear from you again! Aw, really? I have no idea why my blog posts havent been showing up on your feed. But thanks for letting me know.
DeleteYes! I had a great time taking part in Foodie Penpals. You should take part sometime, too.
I'm about to check out your giveaway. Have a great day, Rosie! :)
What a nice package, I love the dotted labels, so pretty! And I want a muesli bar now ;)
ReplyDeleteDid you like the Alnatura Dinkel Waffeln? I have been thinking about buying them almost every time I popped into DM but wasn't quite sure if they are worth it?
Have fun in Bavaria :)
I agree, I love the packaging too!
DeleteYes, I really like the Alnatura Dinkel Waffeln. They're made with dinkel flour so they are a lot healthier than the ones made with white flour. Give them a try and let me know what you think! :)
Thank you!
This is one of the best foodie penpals I've seen! That is so awesome he made it all himself, how creative! All the food sounds so delicious as well! Great package you got :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying your vacation! Looks beautiful there!
I know, right!? :)
DeleteThank you!
How nice that your foodie penpal made all the googies himself.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteWait, so there is a foodie penal thing for Europe too? I want to participate too!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely great parcel - Carl really pulled out all the stops, and everything looks delicious :D
