Welcome, fall. I don’t think we’ll be having any more summer-like weather for the rest of the year. On one hand I’m kind of sad because I’ll miss the warm weather. On the other hand I’m very excited for fall because of various reasons: the clothes, the food that’s in season, the crisp air and the fact that holiday season is coming up.
As always, I’m going to share some recent eats from the past couple of days.
Recent Breakfast: A big bowl of Seitenbacher Kakao Düsis (German cereal), blueberries, walnuts, cashews and low fat milk.
Recent Lunch: My mom made homemade pumpkin and sweet potato soup. It was delicious! I also had a hard boiled egg (unpictured) on the side.
Recent Breakfast: Homemade protein waffles! I topped them with cream cheese, jam and honey.
Recent Breakfast: A bowl of low fat yogurt with one sliced banana, walnuts, granola and blueberries.
Recent Snack: An apple and some peanuts.
Recent Dinner: Brown rice, peas and chicken with olive oil and a hard boiled egg.
Recent Snack: An apple and baby carrots with some peanut butter.
Recent Breakfast: This past Saturday I met up with fellow blogger (Manhattan Angel) for the second time. We went to a restaurant that served a breakfast buffet. I ate more than pictured above but we were talking so much that I didn’t snap pictures of everything. We had a great time together!
Recent Dessert: I eat ice cream everyday and don’t feel bad about it at all! These are the perfect after dinner dessert, they calm my sweet tooth and taste delicious! (I got these at the Germany store, Aldi).
What is your favorite season and why? Is there something you eat everyday because you love it so much?

Aaaw that soup looks so good! I'd like a bowl of that right now,seriously... It's been a long time since I've had soup. A too long time! :c
ReplyDeleteI am sooo exited for the holiday season already! In my book,it has already started actually since I'm crafting for christmas and listening to christmas music all day long, haha :D
P.S. What Peanut Buttter do you buy? I've tried a lot of different brands already, but somehow all german ones are disgusting...

ReplyDeleteI notice you mention low-fat yogurt and milk now..why the switch back from full fat?
ReplyDeleteWell, thanks for your concern.
ReplyDeleteI eat what we have on hand. Sometimes it's full-fat and sometimes it'ts not. I choose to be honest with my readers and tell them what kind of yogurt I'm eating.
Sometimes low-fat or full-fat yogurts are on sale.. so why not get them?
I can assure you that I am not afraid of eating full-fact products and that I am not falling back into my ED ways.
Sorry, didn't mean to come off as concern..seems like variety is the spice of life:)
ReplyDeleteThose ice cream pops look delicious! So do those protein waffles---so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteAll your eats look delicious! I've been on such a waffle kick lately. I'm literally counting down the hours until breakfast tomorrow so that I can whip out my waffle maker and get to work!
